WHAT IS THREAD GLOSS?
thread gloss is a specially formulated wax and oil blend that coats your thread to prevent tangles, fraying, and brittleness. Think of it as a deep conditioner for your thread and embroidery floss.

WHY DO I NEED IT?
Have you ever had to cut your thread short in the middle of your groove because there was a gnarly knot? Using thread gloss helps prevent tangles and knots, taking away all of the frustration of handwork.

WHAT CRAFTS DO I WANT TO USE IT FOR?
Anything that you're dealing with cotton (or pesky metallic!) thread-- hand embroidery, hand quilting, cross-stitch, book-binding, beading, english paper piecing, applique, repairing clothes, whatever you want! Simply drag your thread across the gloss pot after threading your needle, applying slight pressure on the thread with your thumb, while pulling with your other hand.

HOW IS THIS PRODUCT MADE?
I worked with a local manufacturer to produce the formula for this supreme quality thread gloss with all natural ingredients. Now, I work with my husband to produce this supreme quality thread gloss with all natural ingredients. Produced in small batches in-house since February 2019.

WHAT SCENTS ARE AVAILABLE?

Y2K Blend: Contains beeswax, organic fair trade coconut oil, and the following essential oils and extracts: cucumber, honeydew, jasmine, chamomile. Imagine the era of blow-up neon furniture, colored iMacs, Backstreet Boys posters, beaded curtains, making collages from magazines and playing MASH at a slumber party, passing intricately folded notes in class before most of us had cell phones (and the coolest people had the hot pink Razr flip phones or side-kicks), the height of rom-coms, and low rise jeans were all the rage. It's reminiscent of the iconic cucumber melon Bath & Body Works scent from the early 2000s that we all coveted, made modern. Where my cucumber melon girlies at??

Marie Blend: Contains Beeswax, Coconut Oil, rose and patchouli essential oils. Romantic, calm, inviting, wholesome and slightly bohemian. (My personal favorite!! Very fragrant!!!)

Horizon Blend: Contains Beeswax, Coconut Oil, and the following essential oils and extracts: bergamot, grapefruit, orange, neroli, cedarwood, sage. Evokes feelings of hope, passion, and perseverance. A beam of light seen through the crushing weight of late-stage capitalism. A break, an opportunity, the energy to move forward.

Solstice Blend: Contains Beeswax, Coconut Oil, and the following essential oils and extracts: lemon, ginger, patchouli, cedarwood, geranium, and saffron. Inspired by the divine feminine represented in the changing of seasons, and the hopefulness of new beginnings. This scent blend feels simple yet complex, feminine yet neutral, and earthy yet crisp.

Natural Blend: Contains Beeswax and Coconut Oil, unscented except for the naturally fragrant organic and local beeswax. A calming neutral among the chaos of life.

Southern Blend: Contains beeswax, organic fair trade coconut oil, and the following essential oils and extracts: peach, lemon, chamomile, lilac, bourbon. Smells like sitting on the front porch after a nice rain, sipping a warm peach tea with a little bit of whiskey added in, just for fun on a saturday afternoon.
