WHAT IS THREAD GLOSS?
thread gloss is a specially formulated wax and oil blend that coats your thread to prevent tangles, fraying, and brittleness. Think of it as a deep conditioner for your thread and embroidery floss.

WHY DO I NEED IT?
Have you ever had to cut your thread short in the middle of your groove because there was a gnarly knot? Using thread gloss helps prevent tangles and knots, taking away all of the frustration of handwork.

WHAT CRAFTS DO I WANT TO USE IT FOR?
Anything that you're dealing with cotton (or pesky metallic!) thread-- hand embroidery, hand quilting, cross-stitch, book-binding, beading, english paper piecing, applique, repairing clothes, whatever you want! Simply drag your thread across the gloss pot after threading your needle, applying slight pressure on the thread with your thumb, while pulling with your other hand.

HOW IS THIS PRODUCT MADE?
I worked with a local manufacturer to produce the formula for this supreme quality thread gloss with all natural ingredients. Now, I work with my husband to produce this supreme quality thread gloss with all natural ingredients. Produced in small batches in-house since February 2019.

WHAT SCENTS ARE AVAILABLE?

Natural Blend: Contains Beeswax and Coconut Oil, unscented except for the naturally fragrant organic and local beeswax. A calming neutral among the chaos of life.

Marie Blend: Contains Beeswax, Coconut Oil, rose and patchouli essential oils. Romantic, calm, inviting, wholesome and slightly bohemian. (My personal favorite!! Very fragrant!!!)

Poet’s Blend: Contains Beeswax, Coconut Oil, and the following essential oils and extracts: vetiver, peppercorn, rose, bergamot, cardamom, and the tiniest portion of jasmine and patchouli. Earthy, floral.

Smells like a bright spring after a long winter, literally and metaphorically.

Y2K Blend: Contains beeswax, organic fair trade coconut oil, and the following essential oils and extracts: cucumber, honeydew, jasmine, chamomile. Where my cucumber melon girlies at??

Recession Blend: Contains Beeswax, Coconut Oil, & the following essential oils & extracts: Juniper, Mcintosh apple, apricot, white peach, cotton. An ode to recession pop carrying through whatever the heck is happening in our country, a call back to our early roots, a sense of deja vu & carefree nihilism, a scent to accompany brat summer. We're doing grandma hobbies by day & clubbing by night.

Daydream Blend (currently not in stock): Contains Beeswax, Coconut Oil, and the following essential oils and extracts: ylang ylang, nag champa, sandalwood, and rose. Reminiscent of reading books on rainy days during college, looking out the window, pondering the future, with a vintage record playing in the background. A peaceful, calm scent blend.
